Why do we need WordPress?

WordPress is a popular content management system (CMS) used to create and manage websites. It started in 2003 as a simple blogging platform, but has since evolved into a versatile CMS that powers much of the web, from personal blogs to large-scale commercial websites.

One of the reasons for WordPress’ popularity is its user-friendly interface, which makes it accessible even to those with limited technical skills. Users can add content, manage media and customize their sites with relative ease.

Open source software: WordPress is free and open source, meaning anyone can use, modify and distribute it. The project is developed and maintained by a community of contributors from around the world.
Themes and plugins: WordPress offers a wide variety of themes and plugins, which are tools for customizing and improving websites. Themes allow users to change the design and layout of their sites, while plugins add functionality, such as SEO tools, security enhancements, contact forms, and more.

SEO Friendly: WordPress is designed to be SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. It provides features that help sites rank higher in search engine results, such as clean permalink structures, tagging, and automatic meta tag generation.

Responsive Design: Many WordPress themes are responsive, meaning they automatically adjust their layout to look good on all devices, from desktop computers to smartphones. Community Support: Being open source and widely used, WordPress has a large and active community. Users can find support, tutorials and advice on almost any aspect of using or developing for WordPress through forums, blogs and social media groups.
